I said Hakuho will win and he did! :) I really enjoyed the uwatenage against Asashoryu :D He saved the day for me. Oh yes, I'm thinking about the Ozeki-row.
Kotooshu finished with his usual 9-6, Kaio and Kotomitsuki at 8-7 which is not a bright result. And Chiyotaikai... is it Ozeki-pride? After his 0-7 start Kokonoe-oyakata forced him to withdraw.
Byebye to Sekiwake Aminishiki and hello to Maegashira Aminishiki. Ama earned his third outstanding performance award, somehow I expected a double-digit result. His win over Hakuho was a nice piece.
Dejima... uh ah. Kotoshokigu missed 2 days and henka'd Tokitenku at day 12 - at least he says officially he did. Roho aka Mister Henka, but would he ever say that about himself? Well, he got another make. Hakurozan, Mister Henka II, had his difficulties to get an 8-7 as Juryo #3.
Baruto didn't look good to me. Somewhat he's very slow. 7-8. Goeido finished with a 5-10 but he faced all sanyaku and yokozuna, plus Roho who henka'd him. Goeido is young, I'm sure he'll develop well the next bashos. Noteable results by Takekaze and Karkuryu. And Rookie Ichihara. He managed to survive with an 8-7.
