Long weekend, long entry.

I enjoyed the weekend. To be honest, Friday was a lazy day. In the morning I did all necessary shopping since a storm was predicted for Sunday. After dinner I took a nap - for more than 3 hours. My plan was to go on with my diploma thesis, but in the late afternoon I went to Muay Thai training after one month. I really enjoyed it there although I wasn't very satiesfied about my boxing and my kicks... especially the kicks with my left leg are still very bad.

Saturday about 10.30 am the storm "Emma" hit my city with wind speeds up to 128 km/h. In the morning I kept an eye on my barometer which was dropping quickly and the temperature, which was rising. Shortly after 11 am there was a short but intense thunderstorm. I thought the winds will cause damage to my balcony. The firefighters gave alarm. I was lucky, no damages, but a lot of damages around. The storm calmed down in the evening, I went to the solarium by car. But this morning it gained speed again and there's still storm, I still hear the firefighter's sirens.

Quite interesting was the development of the temperatures yesterday morning:

9.6°C (08:30)
12,2°C (10:50)
14.1°C (11:04)
11.0°C (11:12)
8.3°C (11:18)
7,1°C (11:23)
6,7°C (11:27)
6,4°C (11:30)
6,0°C (11:40)
5,3°C (11:50)
4,8°C (11:55)
4,5°C (12:05)
4,7°C (12:12)
5,2°C (12:20)
5,3°C (12:31)

Today we had again about 14°C in the afternoon.

Tomorrow university starts again. I just have 5 classes this term because it will be my very last one. I want to finish my diploma exam in August and have my master exam in November. I was my classes on Monday (French and gender studies) and Tuesday (Research internship II in health sociology and a course for students writing their diploma thesis) and a soft skill course - I got a place in two courses, I'll see which one I'll take.

Anyway, yesterday I bumped into the blog of Sekitori Kotoshogiku. Although I don't understand Japanese (expect some easy words) the pictures are very funny. Most of the time he's having fun with his tsukebito Kotomyozan (former Kotoyamaguchi).

That was it for day! Have a nice Sunday.
