A reorganised balcony

Nice weather now! Time to reorganise our balcony.The goal was: enough space for us, plants (and reducing plants, I used to have really a lot!) and the gardening stuff. The next thing is to add a security net for the cats.

First of all, I removed the straw mats which we used as blinds. I bought blue and white ones made of plastic which are translucent. It looks much more friendly I think.

Second, I bought a big white plastic box at IKEA for all my gardening stuff.

Third, I removed the garden table we used to have on the balcony. It was a very big one for my plants. The plants get enough light if they are standing on the ground because the balcony is facing south.

About the plants, I still have plenty of them: herbs, tulips, crocus... I'll plant strawberries in one of the garden troughts (or however you call that things which are balcony railing) and two chilies and two tomatoes in the pots on the ground. There's just one rule: Not more pots than now.

So there's anough space for us two and even a guest (or the cats?)


And enough space for plants and gardening stuff
